Surprised by the amount of options and help and kids and good company! Was just a great time and stayed all day. When weather hit we all went inside safely and it was the end of the day nite is is so it was a total success. Fun for all ages! Genuinely, the pool especially was a great escape.. the lifeguards and camp leaders did a great job! Thanks yall!
Glad to have a Christian environment in the area. Definitely more fun for "sunset yeared" adults and singles than young families (except for when the youth programs are operating i.e. soccer basketball). Hoping that they can gear it more for youth in the near future. We really need to have youth interested in Christian centered places. Relax the pool up a little more or make a place where mom/dad don't have to hover/hold the kids to not get yelled at by lifeguards, dump a little more money to fix broken things/upgrade, then advertise the kids play area that kids can actually have fun in. That's where I'd start. A single slide and half-working water courtyard should only be the start if this place is to flourish.
This is a terrible organization and the directors there especially child watch makes this company look bad. Very unorganized and notice her at all. The directors let the employees do what the want to do. My wife was getting bullied for weeks there in child watch. she was told by two directors she was the problem. How she the problem when all the kids and parents loved her. You had other workers there who was always late and always calling out with no valid reason as to why they can’t come to work. My wife quit and the two directors they both keep calling her harassing her telling her that they are terminating her. Make it make sense how you terminate someone that quit. One director on vacation but emailing harassing my wife telling her she the problem. Being bullied everyday from coworkers. This place is a joke and they sweep all the problems under the rug the ones that bullied her and causing all these problems they still have them working. This place needs new management or just shut down completely. This was the reason my wife left because they are so unprofessional and they do not care about their workers. I have seen my wife come home and cry because of what has happened to her and she is tired of stressing. This is not worth the 300 check she bring home every two weeks. Who can live off that. She
didn’t need the job but wanted to do something fun because she love kids. Nothing has been done with all the problems she brought to management. They keep calling non stop and emailing to the point we have to get our lawyer involved with the harassment. This place has a lot of red flags and it’s sad that management think they can tell and talk to their employers like that. With my wife health that they knew about they didn’t take it serious with all the stress they put on her and say they depend on her but talk to her crazy . I was not go allow them to keep doing that. And for them to see all the messages from two other workers and harassment to us they did nothing. One worker said she was go run my wife over with her car in the parking lot hey knew this. My wife director said whatever happened after work is not their issue so if my wife would have got hit in the parking lot they wouldn’t have cared. I would not recommend anyone working there to go through what my wife went through when working there. If you want good child care watch this is not the place to go. This place deserves no stars at all.
I was curious about joining the YMCA. I called and Amy was extremely helpful! Answered all my stupid questions and seemed happy to do so. It's been over a decade since I've experienced anything like that when I call places. Thanks Amy! I think I will join the Y!
My son is taking swim lessons at the Y and the staff have been great! I'm very impressed with how the swim instructors are handling the lessons. They have a full class of eight kids per instructor but have been doing a great job giving each child attention. They take one kid at a time into the pool and help them build confidence while having them do basic swimming techniques. So far my son is having a blast!
We go to this place for swim meets, so only time we spend at the pool are watching the kids compete.
A very great place to go and swim freestyle, aquatics or just have fun. There is an indoor and outdoor pool to use. I love playing racquet ball there too. They have many multiple workout machines to use. There is a large gymnasium for basketball, volleyball or pickledee. The staff is always helpful, nice and everything is always so very clean. The people that go there are so nice to be around too. The greeter is always very nice and helpful as well. Much, much more for one person to a whole family of fun! You will love it!
No area for doing stretches. Every other Y that I've belonged to always had such an area at or near the workout machines. Not this one. I'd be happy to bring my own mat but the front desk people said there is no space for doing stretches.
